Shipping

Prior to shipping your coral is securely placed in multiple poly bags filled with the appropriate amount of water to ensure no leaks will occur. Species that run the risk of bag punctures will be packaged with multiple poly bags and bag liners. Bags are then clamped shut with an aluminum fastener for a water tight seal. From there your corals are placed in a high quality Styrofoam cooler. Heat and cold packs are also used to temperature control the container if needed based on your zip codes temperature the following morning. The Styrofoam containers are placed into corrugated boxes and shipped FedEx Priority Overnight® to arrive at your house the very next morning or first available service time for your area.

  • All orders are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight®. The day your order ships, you will receive an e-mail containing your FedEx tracking number so you can make arrangements to sign for your order on arrival. Someone must be available at the time of delivery to prevent livestock from being exposed to the rain and/or extreme temperatures. We recommend you hold at facility if possible, this is the best method for the animals.
  • Delays due to weather, mechanical failures, etc, which result in loss may not be covered under our guarantee.

 

Returns and Refunds

Livestock Policy

We use specific packing means necessary to ensure the safe arrival of your live coral. In the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must send a very clear digital photo within 2 hours of delivery. We may ask for you to ship back the deceased animal, so please do not dispose of it. Once we receive the digital photo,and we receive the deceased coral (if applicable), we will issue a store credit. The store credit does not include the cost of shipping. We do not offer refunds, we only give credit toward future orders.

Hydra Aquatics cannot be held responsible for mechanical or weather delays that may cause your Fedex shipment to arrive late. We can hold corals for up to one week once payment has been received, unless other arrangements are agreed upon. Beyond that, we are not responsible for the coral, and cannot guarantee replacement of the same coral purchased.

We are not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

Dry goods

 If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please return it for a refund, an exchange or credit of the full product cost within 30 days.
